RED7 TONJER River Marine Services are continuing their growth when it comes to ship management services. During the month of March they are proud to announce the winning of a second RED7 Marine contract. The contract entails the management of ‘Normand Tonjer’, registered with IMO number 8205620 and MMSI 235065345.
The ship, built in 1983, sails under the flag of the United Kingdom and was converted to accommodate a helipad in 2000. “Normand Tonjer” is a survey & air diving support vessel with a length of 80.77 m. The vessel is equipped with a 50 HP Triton XLX Workclass ROV system and is permanently mobilized with dual DGPS, dual online navigation, online sensor acquisition and offline processing and reporting packages.
An Air Diving System can be deployed on the vessel to carry out IMCA compliant air diving work down to 50 m. Normand Tonjer has recently operated under Solstad Offshore ASA. Under this company the vessel had worked on contracts that include the servicing of diving vessels and offshore wind farms. The ship has been recently purchased by RED7 MARINE, a provider of Offshore Oil & Gas and Marine Engineering services.
Since the Tonjer now forms part of the RED7 Marine fleet, the vessel will be renamed RED7 Tonjer. This is the second RED7 MARINE vessel that the River Marine Services have been entrusted to manage. The first was DP Reel, a cable layer vessel, which is now being renamed RED7 REEL.
